GDPR Compliance

This blog respects personal data privacy. This page explains data handling and visitor rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and related data protection laws. For questions, contact support@chaosgoo.com.

1. What data is collected?

Information you provide when contacting us

If you email us or contact us through another channel, we receive the contact information and message you provide. We use it to answer your questions or address your suggestions, not for unrelated purposes.

Third-party service data

The site uses Google Analytics for traffic measurement and Google AdSense for advertising. Google handles the associated data collection:

These services follow Google’s privacy policies. We do not directly control or store that portion of the data.

2. How data is protected

Contact information directly collected by the site is retained until one month after the communication has concluded, then deleted rather than kept indefinitely.

Third-party providers are responsible for protecting the data handled by their services. We choose providers with appropriate compliance practices and require GDPR compliance. If third-party interaction services are used, their data handling is also the provider’s responsibility.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer user data to parties outside the service providers involved in operating the site. We use basic security measures, including network protections and secure email communications, to protect directly collected information from unauthorized access.

3. Your rights

EU visitors may contact us to exercise applicable rights:

  1. Information: Learn what data is collected, its purpose, and its retention period.
  2. Access: Request contact data we directly hold, or help accessing information held by an applicable third-party interaction service.
  3. Correction: Request correction of inaccurate contact data.
  4. Deletion: Request deletion of directly collected data, or help requesting deletion from an applicable third-party service.
  5. Objection: Decline to provide contact data and manage Google Analytics or AdSense processing through the available controls.
  6. Portability: Where applicable, request directly collected data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  7. Third-party coordination: Where possible, we help coordinate personal data deletion requests with Google and other providers under GDPR/CCPA requirements.

4. How to exercise your rights

Email support@chaosgoo.com. We respond within 30 days after receiving your request and verifying your identity. Provide sufficient identifying information, such as the email address you used or the subject of a previous conversation. Where appropriate, we help coordinate deletion with third-party providers.
